Philippians 1:8 For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. 9 And this I pray,
I. That Your Heart Will be Bursting
with Love
that your love may abound still more
and more in real knowledge and all discernment,
II. That Your Eyes be Focused on What’s
Important
10 so that you may approve the things
that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of
Christ;
III. That Your Life be a Channel that Overflows
with Blessing to Others
11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness
which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
IV. That Your Soul Have the Peace that Transcends Understanding
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in
the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 6Do not be anxious about anything, but
in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests
to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 19 And my God
will supply all your
needs according to His riches
in glory in Christ Jesus.
